I bought ceruleansky.net on november 15 2009 from JWeb2 (which no longer exists) and it was hosted by them as well. But, I have a rather embarrassing confession to make. I bought cerulean-sky.net from another company. It was one of those, pay for a year's worth of hosting and you get a free domain offers. Which is the same way that I came to buy ceruleansky.net. But, being over 40 at the time and losing my marbles at a fast rate, I forgot!
I was sure I had had cerulean-sky.com and lost it when I didn't renew it. And that domain does go to an advertising holding page. So when I decided to get hosting with JWeb2, I went for another version of the same domain. And then I found that cerulean-sky.net was still mine. Was my face red! So then I had two sites: cerulean-sky.net and ceruleansky.net. As they were both free with hosting, I could not make one point to the other, so I was stuck with them both. However, with the passing of time, it has all been sorted out. When JWeb2 closed, I transfered my domain to Namecheap. The domain is now ceruleansky.uk and it is hosted by Python1.
Through the website archive, I have just found out that someone else had ceruleansky.net before me, and funnily enough, they were part of the fanlistings/collective community, as I was at the time. But the domain had been dropped by the time I came to buy it in 2009.
Cerulean is the colour blue. It can refer to shades from deep blue, sky-blue, bright blue or azure color to greenish blue colors. It was first used as a paint colour, for the sky. Blue is my favourite colour.
